The short version
Creative Owl sets no cookies at allunless you press Accept on the banner. Nothing is written, and no analytics script is even downloaded, until you do. If you press “No thanks”, the only thing stored is a note of that refusal so we stop asking.

Both tools are configured to anonymise IP addresses. We use them to see which books get looked at and which pages people leave from — not to build a profile of you or to advertise to you anywhere.
Amazon
If you click a “Buy on Amazon” button you leave this site and Amazon sets its own cookies, including the affiliate cookie that credits the sale to us. Those cookies are governed by Amazon, and you can manage them in Amazon’s cookie preferences. We do not set any Amazon cookie ourselves, and none is set just by viewing a page here.
What we deliberately do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels
- No social media tracking widgets — the Instagram link is a plain link
- No third-party fonts; the fonts are served from our own domain
- No embedded video or maps
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Changing your mind
Use the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is exactly as easy as giving it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control — we check for both and treat either as a refusal.
